Exótica Face & Eye Cream is highly advanced, all natural luxury
cream. Exotic ingredients from around the world work synergistically to
beautify the skin: Eco-Cert organic approved Mediterranean Olive
anti-aging actives, generate liquid crystal structures that
physiologically integrate into the skin’s lipid barrier and reinforce
its integrity. These skin compatible liquid crystal structures, also act
like microscopic mirrors which polarize light to emit silvery, blue or
iridescent luminescence- making the skin look luminous. Asian White
Camellia Oil and East African Nilotica Shea Butter, increase tonicity

Organic
Cold-pressed White Camellia Seed Oil: a secret of the Geisha's to keep
their skin flawless and their hair lustrous. In Asia, it is known as
the beautification oil. Rich in antioxidants, emollients, and soothing
properties. This is one of the few oils that can be used on all skin
types and will not clog pores (actually it helps clear skin).
Organic
Cold-Crushed Nilotica Shea butter: (the creme de la creme of shea
butters). It enhances skin elasticity, softness, protects, and heals
dry damaged skin.
Stable Vit. C: a potent antioxidant that squelches free radical
formation, and mitigates damaging effects of UV exposure. It is one of
the few clinically proven ingredients to boosts collagen production,
and helps to clarify and brighten skin to produce a more even skin tone.
Olive
Oil unsaponifiables: the healing fraction of olive oil- promotes
healthy lipid production, barrier properties, flexibility, and
suppleness.
Olive anti-aging actives (eco-cert organic approved):
natural anti-aging actives made from a Olive Oil fatty acids,
chemically similar to the skin surface lipid. Approved by ECOCERT for
use in organic cosmetics. These olive oil fatty acids prevents the signs
of aging- restructuring and recompacting properties gives tonicity and
elasticity to the skin, maintain the integrity of the skin barrier,
protects from trans-epidermal water loss, improves skin barrier function
by protecting from trans-epidermal water loss, increases the integrity
of skin barrier, is an anti-inflammatory and soothes and calms sensitive
skin. These complex fatty acids have the ability to generate liquid
crystal structures that mimic the stratum corneum extracellular lipid
matrix tridimensional organization- meaning they physiologically
integrate into the skin lipid barrier and reinforce its integrity. Help
increase absorption of water soluble actives, acts as an environmental
shield. The skin compatible liquid crystal structures, through a
biomimetic mode of action, reproduce the crystalline structures of the
iridophores acting as microscopic mirrors which polarize light to emit
silvery, blue or iridescent luminescence- promotes skin luminescence by
mimicking Nature's way.
Panthenol: provitamin B- a deep
penetrating moisturizer, anti-inflammatory, heals damaged skin, and
stimulates epithelization (process of skin healing).
Natural Glycerin: regulates natural balance of skin and has a smoothing effect.
Organic
Lecithin: is an emollient, that softens and soothes the skin. It
deeply moisturizes, and helps to hydrate the skin. "The phospholipids
naturally present in Lecithin are able to attract water from the air,
and in doing so, increase hydration. This makes it an excellent
additive for restorative creams, or for products designed for mature,
dry, or overworked skin. It also has the unique ability to deeply
penetrate the skin." (MRH) We use GMO free organic lecithin, since many
lecithins can originate from GMO soybeans.
Natural Preservative:
Rosa y Fruta uses an Eco-Cert natural approved preservative blend that
is safe and effective. We use a blend of plant oil derived levulinic
acid, food grade potassium sorbate, mixed tocopherol (vit. E), and
citric acid. It's an expensive preservative system, but we feel it is
not only safe but nourishing to the skin, and absolutely worth it!
Xanthan Gum: gives a luxurious feel, and helps maintain moisture.
Sodium PCA: natural moisturizing factor found in human skin. Penetrates and hydrates skin.
Silk Amino Acids: penetrates to nourish and moisturize skin.
